"Burnout thrives in silence.
Recovery thrives in community."

Seeing the deep, often unspoken toll of chronic stress and burnout across every sector—from classrooms and clinics to cafes and corporate cubicles—led me to create Burnout Support Society. Again and again, I witnessed people blaming themselves for their exhaustion and disconnection without recognizing the systems, pressures, and cultural habits contributing to their daily dis-ease.

As a student of biology and psychology at Auburn University, I became fascinated with the relationship between brain function, emotional regulation, and resilience. I conducted undergraduate research in the university’s Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience (CAN) lab, using 7T-fMRI to explore how emotions interact with memory. Later, I earned a master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and began to connect the dots between neurobiology, organizational health, and real-world stress responses.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I studied the changing nature of digital work, leading survey-based research into how boundaries shape well-being in remote environments. As burnout rates surged worldwide, I realized I had not only a personal commitment—but a professional responsibility—to step in. Burnout Support Society became the platform where I could offer others the tools and insight to decode their stress, protect their energy, and reclaim agency in systems that often obscure it.

Why I Created the Burnout Support Society

Coaching Philosophy

I coach from a place of understanding that burnout is not just personal, it's cultural, biological, and structural.

My approach integrates systems thinking, neuroscience, and trauma-informed, somatic strategies to create space for recovery, clarity, and realignment. I bring together science and storytelling to help clients build awareness, regulate energy, and practice sustainable boundary-setting in all areas of life.

I believe you don’t have to “push through” to prove your worth. You don’t have to do it alone. And you don’t have to ignore the signals your body has been trying to send you all along.

Rooted in Impact

Burnout Support Society is more than a coaching practice—it's a Public Benefit Corporation grounded in advancing mental well-being and systemic awareness. My work spans education, healthcare, consulting, and tech, all of which inform the approach we take today: empowering individuals and organizations through science-based, trauma-aware strategies

.

My interdisciplinary training—biology, psychology, neuroscience, and organizational behavior—equips me to recognize how chronic stress manifests both personally and collectively. While working in the educational technology space, I gained extensive experience in leadership development, adult learning, data interpretation, and program design—skills I now use to help others identify pain points and implement practical, measurable solutions for both self and workplace.
